Programmes - How do I report a fault?
The most common type of problem experienced by those who use BBC iPlayer is with individual programmes. We list the problems we know of in our Latest Programme Issues FAQ. So if it's not listed there, please let us know by clicking “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the page and selecting “Report a Fault” as the contact type.
This will take you through some questions to help our investigation. Please give as much detail as possible, including the full name of the programme and the webpage address (URL). There's an additional text box you can use if there's not enough space to include any information you think might be helpful, such as error messages.
On a PC?
With the PC version of BBC iPlayer, it helps us to know what version of Flash Player you have installed. An easy way to find out is by visiting www.whatismyflash.com
Other BBC iPlayer issues
You can also report other BBC iPlayer issues with the “Report a Fault” option. Just be aware that we may not be able to investigate every problem. So you may like to visit one of the external messageboards where you can discuss BBC iPlayer.
