• Play catch-up TV & radio: Watch or listen to programmes while connected to the internet.
• Play live TV & radio: Watch or listen to live broadcasts of the BBC's main channels. Note that you will need a TV licence to do this.
Download catch-up TV: Download TV programmes over Wi-Fi to watch later without needing an internet connection. If you download a programme, you can watch it for up to seven days. Devices that don't currently support the digital rights management (DRM) system that we use for BBC iPlayer can't download programmes to watch later. Read What is Sideloading FAQ for further information.
Play over 3G: Stream live or catch-up programmes via 3G as well as Wi-Fi.
BlackBerry: Please download the BBC iPlayer Shortcut App from www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/bbapps/ to ensure that iPlayer works correctly.
Intel Inside: Mobile phones with Intel Inside are not supported by Adobe Air. Unfortunately, this means that BBC iPlayer is unavailable on these devices.

* Android Devices need to meet a minimum technical specification. Read our
FAQ on how to get BBC iPlayer on Android for more information.
