I'm told that BBC iPlayer is not a valid application, what should I do?

If you are running Windows XP, you may need to clear your temporary internet files and your history.

This is done by going to Internet Explorer's Tools then Internet Options menu and select Delete Files in the General tab.

Please ensure you do not delete anything essential.
