These instructions are for Windows Media Player 11. If you don't have it, you can download it free of charge from Microsoft.

1. | Plug your portable device via a USB connection into your computer. A Portable Device icon should appear in bottom right of your task bar - click on it. |
2. | Select Sync digital media files to this device and click OK. |
3. | Windows Media Player should have opened automatically in the Sync tab. You'll be able to view all the files already in your Library as well the files in your media device. |
4. | Drag and drop the programmes you want to sync into the Sync List box in the far right window. |
5. | When you've chosen all the programmes you want to sync, click on the Start Sync button |
6. | A green progress bar will be displayed during the synchronisation. Selected programmes will state Synchronised with device and you can now remove your portable device once safe to do so. |
