How do I uninstall BBC iPlayer Desktop for Windows XP?
The application can easily be removed from the Control Panel and Add or Remove Programs.
Search for BBC iPlayer Desktop and click Remove.
To remove any settings
1. Delete the directory C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\BBCiPlayerDesktop.61DB7A798358575D6A969CCD73DDBBD723A6DA9D.1
2. Delete the directory C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS\BBCiPlayerDesktop.61DB7A798358575D6A969CCD73DDBBD723A6DA9D.1
To remove any downloaded programmes
Delete the directory My Documents\My Videos\BBC iPlayer
