How do I access BBC iPlayer on my home media hub?

You can access BBC iPlayer if your home media hub supports Windows Media protected files. You'll also need a PC running Windows XP or Vista, with Windows Media Centre installed.

  1. Download a Windows Media Player download from the More downloads option on a programme page.
  2. Add your Windows Media Player Downloads folder to your Windows Media Centre library.
  3. Set up your home media hub as a Windows Media Extender device - you may need to check with your home media hub manufacturer on how to do this.

You will now be able to play your downloaded programmes on your TV through your media hub.
