Due to the digital rights management (DRM) technology we use, Internet Explorer can find out what you may need to update on your computer to make mobile downloads work but we can't do this for other browsers. We recommend you use Internet Explorer if you're uncertain about any of the changes you may need to make.
Don't forget that you need to play the programme before trying to transfer it if you use Firefox to download for media players.
1. Get the latest version of Windows Media Player
If you don't have Windows Media Player version 11, you can download it free of charge from Microsoft.
This link will take you to a website outside bbc.co.uk. The BBC is not responsible for content or software downloaded from external sites.
2. Individualise your computer
Using Internet Explorer, visit the Microsoft website here then hit the Upgrade button in the web page and follow the instructions.
3. DRM reset
If this still does not work, you may need to reset your DRM folder. Please see this information on how to do this in Windows XP or Windows Vista.
