Remove BBC iPlayer Desktop
First, close BBC iPlayer Desktop if it's running.
Then go to Control Panel
Click on Programs or Programs & Features
Search for BBC iPlayer Desktop and click Change/Remove.
Remove your settings
Note that you will need to be able to view hidden files. You do this in Windows Explorer by going to Tools > Folder Options and selecting the View tab. Then select Show hidden files and folders.1. Delete the directory

Reinstall BBC iPlayer Desktop
Return to the BBC iPlayer website in Internet Explorer or Firefox and download a programme. Follow the instructions to install BBC iPlayer Desktop. Don't forget that your account needs to have administrator privileges to install BBC iPlayer Desktop.
