Downloading programmes
You can download regular and HD programmes to your computer with BBC iPlayer Desktop, and versions of Windows, Macintosh OS and Linux support this.
Windows users can also download programmes and transfer them to certain phones and portable media players – find out more about sideloading.
In addition, certain mobile phones can download programmes directly through 3G or wifi.
Podcasts are not supported just yet, but we are working on this.
