The BBC is committed to making its broadcast and online services as accessible as possible. BBC iPlayer includes a Sign Zone and audio described search facilities in the Categories menu and the introduction of subtitles for downloads and streaming. We aim to provide subtitles for the majority of our programmes, although technical considerations mean this is not always possible. We also offer Audio Description and Sign Language for a small proportion of our programmes.

Audio Description and Sign Language programmes are not available for mobiles or portable devices at present.
