Streaming and downloading programmes directly to your phone over wi-fi and 3G networks
Vodafone and 3 subscribers with the Nokia N96 or Nokia N85 can now directly access and stream BBC iPlayer - simply point your phone's browser to BBC iPlayer and follow the instructions that come with the application. To download programmes, you need to have a wireless internet connection enabled.
If you are a T-Mobile subscriber you will have to have a wi-fi connection as access via the phone network is not available, but we are working with operators to enable direct connections.
Copying programmes from your PC to your phone
The Nokia phones support numerous USB modes. When transferring downloaded content from your computer onto the N96 or N85, you'll need to select the Media Transfer option on your phone once you've connected the USB cable. This is because programmes need to be transferred in MTP mode. This guide has more information.
