USERS CAN NO LONGER LISTEN TO BBC RADIO USING REALPLAYER

From midday today, users of BBC iPlayer are longer be able to ‘listen live' or ‘listen again' to BBC radio stations/programmes using RealMedia (Real Player) - Flash will now be the default player for iPlayer.

Therefore, any users who currently listen using RealMedia will, from midday, see an on-screen message advising them that they need to install Flash.

The following FAQs have been published on the iPlayer help site;

Why do I get an on-screen message telling me that I need to install Flash when I try to listen to BBC Radio on BBC iPlayer?

Why am I no longer able to 'Listen Live' in BBC iPlayer to BBC radio stations in RealMedia format?

Why am I no longer able to 'Listen Again' to BBC radio programmes on BBC iPlayer in RealMedia format?
